your semester notebook, kept as you go

the venture book

The Venture Book is a diary of your work this semester. Each week you add the thing you made, the journal you wrote at the start of class in your own words, and a note on what you asked AI tools and what you decided. By December it is the raw material for your final case study: you pull from it instead of trying to remember the semester.

Where you keep it is up to you. The email and passphrase save your book through this site if that helps. A paper notebook, a PowerPoint, a markdown file on your laptop all count the same.

{{ savedLine }}
save it to the course server, once:
After that it follows you to any device: open this page anywhere, enter the same email and passphrase, and your book is there. Neither one is stored on the server.

the prompt log

A running record of what you asked AI tools, what you kept, and why. The AI policy requires it, and it is the chapter that shows your judgment most clearly.

Five columns per entry. The last one, why, is the one that gets read.
